Building Tech Confidence
Helping Adults Overcome Being “Bad at Technology”
Many adults walk into technology classes already convinced they can’t succeed, making confidence the real barrier, not ability. This interactive session introduces practical teaching approaches, encouraging communication techniques, and real-world examples that library staff can apply right away to ease anxiety and build trust in patrons and colleagues. Participants will leave with actionable strategies to help reluctant learners feel capable, achieve early success, and stay engaged.
