Kira Smith

Kira Smith is a Virtual Reference Specialist for Florida’s Ask A Librarian service. She also coordinates the statewide delivery service, which provides pickup and delivery of interlibrary loan materials among over 200 libraries throughout Florida. Recently, she served as a researcher for the book, “Undoing Drugs: The Untold Story of Harm Reduction and the Future of Addiction.” She has a Master’s Degree in Library Science and Education from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Tulane University. Kira is a former elementary school teacher and childbirth educator. She enjoys teaching, technology, and travel.
