DESCRIPTION:Digital skills touch every part of life — from financial literacy to parenting to job readiness. Hundreds of initiatives exist to help\, but resources are scattered\, leaving organizations to either miss opportunities or reinvent the wheel. \nThe Tech Ready Nation platform changes that. It acts as a discovery layer — one place to find courses\, lesson plans\, handouts\, and resources that actually fit your community. \nIn this session\, Sweet shares how to leverage free and low-cost Tech Ready Nation resources to help your library survive and thrive. She started the platform as a tech librarian for Nebraska and is now syncing with other states to meet a growing national need. \nWalk away with practical insights and ideas for helping your users build core technology skills — without starting from scratch.  \nAmanda Sweet Amanda Sweet is the Technology Innovation Librarian for the Nebraska Library Commission\, where she helps communities leverage technology to solve large-scale issues. She is focused on learning new AI-supported techniques to accelerate service design and development. \nShe is a frequent conference speaker on Industry 4.0 technologies\, Sustainable Development Goals\, and collective impact for social change. Amanda has a BA in English from Carleton College\, a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee\, and received the Excellence in Leadership Award from the State of Nebraska in 2022. \nInterested in attending? Contact us
