FLW: Easing Staff into the New Technology and Services

October 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Libraries serve as a community hub for exploring new technology. Library staff often help the public to understand, use, and adapt to new technology and services. However, not every staff member will welcome the new with open arms and will stick to the older way.
This workshop will show you how you can:
– Encourage and support integrating new technology services into your current processes and organizational vision.
– Make new technology practical and fun for all while you support your staff and customer’s needs.
– Lead a peaceful transition/integration from any position.
Led by Maurice Coleman, Principal of Coleman & Associates and host of the “”T is for Training”” podcast, this session includes insights and techniques aimed at aiding all staff members in embracing the ever-evolving realm of technology with confidence and ease.
Presenter: Maurice Coleman
Maurice Coleman is the Principal of Coleman & Associates. As a trainer, coach, and keynote speaker, Maurice helps organizations improve their human processes and use of technology, expand their internal/external communications, and broaden their focus and implementation of EDI activities.
