Novare Library Services created and implemented a mobile application for the Florida Library Association’s Annual Conference in 2011 and 2012.
At the conference in 2011, approximately 1 in 6 attendees used the application during the three day conference – most returning repeatedly to access the conference schedule. The mobile app helped tie-in social media such as FourSquare, Facebook and Twitter into the conference. Attendees were able to access the program, exhibitors, meetings and conference center map easily from their mobile device.
The web-based mobile page was created to be used on ALL smart phones- iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows. Users can access the page via links, QR Codes, or by typing in the URL.
Based on the open source jQTouch, the flexible mobile web page can be developed and implemented at a very affordable price.
The mobile app will help elevate your conference and will generate enthusiasm and glee from your conference’s attendees.
